KRYOS V6 Nonprofit Fellowships

KRYOS V6 is provided free to synergistic nonprofits through fellowships funded by James Scott and managed by Embassy Row Project. This page explains how organisations apply and what fellowship access to KRYOS V6 entails.

Programme

Who Funds It and Who Runs It

Funding and management are held by different parties.

Funded by James Scott

Funding is his role in the program. He pays for the fellowships that make the framework free to participating organizations.

Managed by Embassy Row Project

Management is a separate role from funding. Embassy Row Project runs the program and is the place to ask about current program details.

Provided Free to Synergistic Nonprofits

A synergistic nonprofit is one whose mission and operational needs align with the fellowship program. Participating organizations receive KRYOS V6 at no cost.

How the fellowship model works: an explanation of roles, not a measure of impact

James Scott funds the fellowships. Embassy Row Project manages the fellowships. Synergistic nonprofit organizations receive KRYOS V6 free through those fellowships.

Access

What Fellowship Access to KRYOS V6 Entails

What a participating organisation receives, stated without extending it.

The framework itself, free

A fellowship provides KRYOS V6 to a participating synergistic nonprofit at no cost. That is the substance of the award.

A governed way to structure decisions

Mission and scope, evidence and provenance, contradiction testing, scenario comparison with visible tradeoffs, and controlled release logic, applied to the organisation's own work.

The published boundaries alongside it

The limits, claim register, and non-claims travel with the framework. Knowing what it does not do is part of using it correctly.

A capability the organisation keeps

The fellowship model follows Strategic Capability Philanthropy: transfer a durable capability rather than funding that runs out.

How to apply

How Organizations Apply

Four steps, from reading the framework to programme review.

  1. Step 01

    Read what KRYOS V6 is

Understand the framework before applying. KRYOS V6 is a governed decision framework, not a piece of software that is installed, and its published limits are part of what a fellowship provides.

  2. Step 02

Describe your organisation and its decisions

The application asks who you are and what kind of decisions your work turns on: the questions, the evidence you rely on, and where the reasoning has to hold up afterwards.

  3. Step 03

    Submit the application form

The form on this site sends your enquiry to the fellowship programme. Submitting it is an enquiry, not an award and not a confirmation of eligibility.

  4. Step 04

Programme review by Embassy Row Project

Embassy Row Project manages the fellowships and holds the programme documentation. Review, correspondence, and any current programme details come from them.

Submitting the application is an enquiry to the programme. It is not an award, and it is not a confirmation of eligibility.

Boundaries

What a Fellowship Does Not Change

The framework's limits apply to fellowship organisations exactly as they apply to everyone else.

  • Not a single piece of software. KRYOS V6 is a framework, not a product installed on a machine.

  • Not tied to one industry. It is adaptable, and adaptable is not the same as universal.

  • It does not automate judgement. Authority stays with the accountable person named in the decision.

  • It does not produce certainty. It makes the basis of a conclusion inspectable, not guaranteed.

  • It does not treat extrapolation as documented capability. The two are distinguished and labelled.

  • It does not force an answer. Weak support produces a narrower output, an escalation, or no release.

KRYOS V6 supports the people doing the work. It does not replace accountable professionals and it does not guarantee outcomes. The full register is on the limits page.
