Mission

Decide the decision you are facing within your sector, producing a bounded advisory output, with the decision owner named before analysis begins and a stated success condition.

Likely evidence needs

  • Register every source you already hold with provenance, date, and collection method.
  • Assess each source for fitness against this specific question, not general credibility.
  • Record what you do not have: absent evidence is itself an input.

Contradiction checks to run

  • Which source, if accurate, would defeat the conclusion you currently expect?
  • Where do stakeholders disagree, and is that about facts, values, or authority?
  • Does any evidence date from a materially different context than the decision applies to?

Scenario questions

  • What follows if the strongest supporting source turns out to be wrong?
  • How do options perform if the binding constraint tightens?
  • Which assumption does the preferred option depend on most heavily?
  • What is the cost of delaying the decision by one review cycle?

Release recommendation types

  • Qualify: issue with the conditions stated in the output itself.
  • Constrain: narrow to the supported portion where coverage is partial.
  • Proceed: only where contradictions are resolved and authority is clear.

Unresolved items

  • No evidence sources listed yet: treat every conclusion as unresolved.
  • Decision owner and affected stakeholders not yet named.
  • Binding constraint not stated; tradeoff analysis cannot be completed.
  • Transferability of any external evidence into your context is an assumption to test, not to assume.

Must remain human-owned

Accountability, authority to act, and the decision itself remain with named people.
